- New Student Orientation. Friday, September 3
- The library will be closed on Monday, September 6.
- St. Mary's Email. There is a link to access your St. Mary's email on the library home page. All library notices are sent to your email, so we encourage everyone to check their email regularly or to forward their STMU mail to another email address. Click on the "i" beside the STMU webmail link in the blue banner above for instructions on forwarding your email.
- The library is an academic workspace. Please lower your voice when in the library.
- Cell phones. In the library, please set your cell phones to silent or vibrate and answer your calls outside the library.
Library Access
- Problems Logging in?
All students have a St. Mary’s email account. This email account is important since many notices,
bulletins, and registration information are now sent to your StMU email acount. If you have problems accessing your account, MySTMU, then please download the StMU Webmail Instructions. This document contains instructions about StMU Email Accounts, Email
Forwarding, Logging onto Library Computers, Changing Your Password, and
Logging Off.
- Library Cards
All students must have a valid student ID card to access library services! If you do not have one, please make an appointment at the main office of the Administration Building to get one. For information borrowing privileges please consult the Borrowing Library Materials policy.
- Library Catalogue.
"My Account" PIN. If you want to access the "My Account" section of the catalogue, you will need to come to the library to set up a PIN first.
- Off-campus Access to Electronic Resources
The electronic resources are now set up so that off-campus access is available via your library card/student ID barcode.
- Printing in the Library.
Printing in the Library is 10¢ a page. All new students have a $1.00 balance to start. After that, you will need to pay for additional printing at the library.
Drop-In Hours: The Computer Lab classrooms in the Library, B104 and B105, are booked for classes on certain days and times. To indicate when they are booked, these schedules are posted online and also posted outside each lab. The labs may be used for drop-in hours anytime outside of these posted times.
